Debris Removal

Debris removal, like the other additional coverages, is triggered by a covered loss. The removal of debris of trees is covered if the damage was caused by wind, hail or weight of ice, snow, or sleet (if it's the insured's tree) or a coverage C peril (if it's a neighbor's tree that falls on the insured's premises). Also, the tree has to damage a covered structure or block a driveway or ramp designed to assist the handicapped. Trees damaged by insects are not covered for direct damage to the tree or debris removal.
